Every bedroom in this shingle-covered colonial has antique cast-iron beds and country pine furniture. Each also seems to be filled with yard upon yard of fabric: generous floral table covers and drapes, white duvets, and quilted spreads. Whether the gardens were inspired by the guest-room fabrics or the fabrics were chosen to mirror the gardens is hard to know. Southampton's main street is a 15-minute walk away, and the public beach is a mile away.
