Fodor's Review:

This 1648 saltbox was built by town founder Thomas Halsey. The English general William Erskine had his headquarters here during the American Revolution. Today it's a museum that includes furniture from the 17th and 18th centuries and a 16th-century "breeches" Bible that has an interesting take on what Adam and Eve actually wore after the Fall.
