Quogue Wildlife Refuge

Fodor's Review:

The 300-acre wildlife preserve, managed by the State Department of Environmental Conservation, has self-guided trails and a wildlife-rehabilitation center, plus a Nature Center with exhibits and a library. Classes about field ecology and wildlife photography are available, and the refuge also has children's programs.
