Brewery Ommegang Review

The affinity with all things Belgian, not just the beer, is palpable at this brewery, an elegant, white, wooden structure with an unusual round wing that has slitlike windows and would probably be called Romanesque if it were built of stone. Brews include Hennepin Farmhouse Ale, Ommegang Abbey Ale, and Rare Vos Ale, all of which are rich and excellent. Tours and tastings are possible throughout the year. In warmer months the staff makes waffles according to a traditional recipe. The brewery also hosts several seasonal events.
