This is the factory outlet for the Taos Drum Factory. The store, 5 mi south of Taos Plaza (look for the large tepee), stocks handmade Pueblo log drums, leather lamp shades, and wrought-iron and Southwestern furniture.

I received a hand drum as a gift and after two or three years the wood started to buckle and warp which tore the drum across the face. After sending pictures of the broken hand drum to their customer support I was told that they couldn't do anything for me. I asked to speak with the manager/owner, Bruce Allen, would be contacting me and this was back in October 2014. I emailed him twice and had finally had enough and called them again. Bruce refuses
to even spea with me and his only offer was to sell me another drum. This organization does nothing but sell tourist trinkets under the guise of native american culture. this statement is from their website: " However, due to the fact that all of our drum are individually make by experts in the art of drum making, we are able to work with you to find the perfect drum. We take great pride in our work and guarantee the craftsmanship and materials of every Taos Drums. That's the Taos Drums pledge". If my experience is any indication of their guarantee, you can expect nothing with regard to them standing behind their overpriced knock offs.
