The walls surrounding this Pueblo Revival building date from the early 1800s; the inn itself is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The rooms have kiva fireplaces, CD stereos, coffeemakers, and Mexican-tile bathrooms, and many have private patios or decks. The living room has a well-stocked library with books on Taos and art. Owners Jerry and Peggy Davis provide helpful advice about the area and serve a generous breakfast, afternoon snacks, and evening coffee. Guests have privileges at the nearby health club (but the inn has its own hot tub).

Wife and I stayed here 3/11-3/16/07 in the Sky Room. Room was great, good views, comfy, kiva, outdoor deck, roomy bathroom. Peggy and Jerry, the owners, very accomodating, as was Colleen, who cooked breakfast and cleaned the rooms. Rooms were always clean; food was great; and afternoon snacks included. Short 3-4 block walk to the Plaza. Highly recommended.
