This low-to-the-ground, pueblo-style adobe a few blocks north of Taos Plaza has traditional Southwestern furnishings including colorful blankets spread across wooden floors, along with solid viga crossbeams in the ceilings. Fireplaces in some rooms add to a homey feel. A number of more expensive but well-equipped condominiums also are available as rentals.

Some rooms have old fashioned kitchenettes. Others have lovely fireplaces, kiva style. This is the best deal in Taos with rooms from 49.00 to 99.00. On off nights, don't be afraid to ask for a discount. Please tell them that Sonya Hayward sent you. The old gal passed away but this was her life's dream and ambition. There is no better deal in Taos, as anything cheaper is loaded with trouble, noise, and poor service. I worked at a number of these places. I know! If you want a ski deal, ask about the condominiums. Remember, Sonya sent you! Jeffrey, Enjoy Taos. Finally, if you need upscale, try The Fechin or The Taos Inn. But the rest don't even compare. Lot's of parking space for big rigs and vehicles. Animals are welcomed.
