$$$-$$$$, Taos
Fodor's Review:
Tile hearths, French doors, and traditional viga ceilings grace the "House of Chimneys" B&B, 2 1/2 blocks from the Plaza and secluded behind thick walls. Each room in the 1912 structure has a private entrance, a fireplace, handmade New Mexican furniture, bathrooms with Talvera tiles, and a bar stocked with complimentary beverages. All rooms overlook the gardens, and facilities include a small but excellent spa offering a wide range of treatments. Two-course breakfasts are included, as are full evening meals.
