Taos Restaurants

Sabroso

Sabroso Review

Reasonably priced, innovative cuisine and outstanding wines are served in this 150-year-old adobe hacienda, where you can also relax in lounge chairs near the bar, or on a delightful patio surrounded by plum trees. The Mediterranean-influenced contemporary menu changes regularly, but an evening's entrée might be pan-seared sea scallops, risotto cakes, and ratatouille, or rib-eye steak topped with a slice of Stilton cheese. There's live jazz and cabaret in the piano bar several nights a week. Order from the simpler bar menu if you're seeking something light—the antipasto plate and white-truffle-oil fries are both delicious.
