Old Blinking Light

Updated 12/04/2013

Fodor's Review

About a mile up NM 150 toward the ski valley from the landmark "old blinking light" (now a regular stoplight, where U.S. 64, NM 522, and NM 150 meet), this rambling adobe is known for its steaks, ribs, and enormous (and potent) margaritas. There's also a long list of tasty appetizers, such as posole stew and chipotle-shrimp quesadillas. Several huge burgers are available, plus first-rate chicken mole. In summer you can sit out in the walled garden and take in the spectacular

mountain view. There's a wine shop on the premises, and the restaurant is owned by the same talented team behind Lambert's of Taos.
