Andean Softwear Review
Andean Softwear which was begun at the Ski Valley in 1984 but has a second location close to the plaza, carries warm, sturdy, but beautifully designed clothing and textiles, as well as jewelry. Much of the wares here come from Peru, Bolivia, and Ecuador, as the name of the store implies, but owner Andrea Heckman also imports from Bali, Mexico, Turkey, and plenty of other far-flung locales with distinct arts traditions. Note the deliciously soft alpaca sweaters from Peru.
