Galisteo Bistro

Galisteo Bistro Review

Walk into this inviting space a few blocks from the Plaza—with its open kitchen, stacked stone walls, and high ceiling—and you'll likely hope that the food tastes as good as the room feels. Thankfully, it does. The crab cakes are stellar; leading entrées include chicken saltimbocca, grass-fed beef cooked á la béarnaise or Roberto-style (with sautéed marsala mushrooms and roasted green chiles), and mandarin mango pasta with pan-roasted chicken, fresh vegetables, and curried orange-mango sauce over semolina penne. The beautiful desserts often favor chocolate. There's a nice selection of wines, plus a limited offering of locally brewed beers.
