Book NowInn of the Governors Review
This rambling hotel by the Santa Fe River received a major makeover in 2004, and is staffed by a polite, enthusiastic bunch. Rooms have a Mexican theme, with bright colors, hand-painted folk art, feather pillows, Southwestern fabrics, and handmade furnishings; deluxe rooms also have balconies and fireplaces. Perks include a complimentary tea-and-sherry social each afternoon and a quite extensive breakfast buffet along with free Wi-Fi and newspapers. New Mexican dishes and lighter fare like wood-oven pizzas are served in the very popular and very reasonably priced (¢) bar-restaurant, Del Charro.

We stayed at the Inn in June 2008 for 4 nights. We had a pleasant stay. The service was excellent and the service was friendly. There was a large selection of hot and cold food choices for breakfast and freshly baked cookies and sherry at 4pm everyday - all complimentary. The location was perfect and the room was spacious, clean and quiet!
