A quirky, order-at-the-counter Middle Eastern café inside the Design Center home-furnishings mall, Cleopatra serves up ultrafresh Egyptian, Lebanese, and Greek food at bargain prices. You might start with besara (fava beans with cilantro, garlic, fried onion, and pita bread). Popular entrées include the falafel plate, with hummus and tabouleh salad, and grilled organic-lamb kebabs with onions, bell peppers, rice, tahini, and Greek salad. Wine, beer, fresh-squeezed lemonade, and Turkish coffee are also offered.

This is an order-at-the-counter type establishment. You can sit down in what is now the Design Center (used to be an auto repair shop, I believe), or you can take-out, which is a very popular thing to do.
I would recommend the gyro plate, the shawarma, and the Lebanese salad—but everything I have tried has been good. The baba ganouj is as good as any I have had in the States. The food is fresh and is quickly prepared, and the prices are very reasonable.
