Fodor's Review

A no-fuss, order-at-the-counter Middle Eastern café inside the Design Center home-furnishings mall, Cleopatra serves up ultrafresh Egyptian, Lebanese, and Greek food at bargain prices. You might start with besara (fava beans with cilantro, garlic, fried onion, and pita bread). Popular entrées include the falafel plate, with hummus and tabbouleh salad, and grilled organic-lamb kebabs with onions, bell peppers, rice, tahini, and Greek salad. Tangy fresh-squeezed

lemonade and potent Turkish coffee are also offered. The friendly owner, Jack, greets everyone as though they are friends. He has a second restaurant on the south side of town at 3482 Zafarano Drive.
