Tucked down an alley off Old Santa Fe Trail, near the capitol, this sunny, art-filled café inside an 1850s adobe serves some of the tastiest breakfast and lunch fare in town. The food is mostly New Mexican-inspired, including excellent breakfast burritos, as well as delicious pies, strong espresso drinks, and locally produced Tara's Organic Ice Cream, which comes in such unusual flavors as blueberry mint and lemongrass. During the warmer months, dine on the big front patio, shaded with leafy trees.
