Fodor's Review:

Breakfast tends to be a big social affair in Santa Fe, and several very good bakeries vie heavily for the morning crowd. Although it's a 10-minute drive south of town, Cloud Cliff Bakery prepares some of the best food, using organic ingredients when possible. For lunch, consider smoked Norwegian salmon with herbed cream cheese, spinach, and tomato, or the black-bean chipotle chili. Breakfast favorites include herb-grilled polenta with mozzarella, green chile sauce, and two eggs any style, and blue corn pancakes with granola. This sleek, modern dining room fills up fast on weekends, so expect a wait.
