Popular with locals, hotel guests, and day-trippers, the atmospheric restaurant inside the iconic Plaza Hotel serves three meals daily. Cuisine tends toward tried-and-true American (shrimp cocktail, Cobb salad, filet mignon, roasted pork with mushroom-tarragon sauce), with a few New Mexican specialties—blue corn enchiladas, green-chile stew—thrown in. Be sure to enjoy a drink, or perhaps even an after-dinner cigar, at the adjacent Byron T.'s Saloon, with its pressed-tin ceilings and high windows overlooking the plaza.
