Carlsbad Caverns National Park Visitor Center Review
A 75-seat theater offers engrossing films and ranger programs about the different types of caves. Some of the rules include staying on paths so you don't get lost, keeping objects and trash in your pockets and not on the ground, and not touching the formations. Visitor center exhibits offer a primer on bats, geology, wildlife, and the early tribes and settlers that once lived in and passed through the Carlsbad Caverns area. Friendly rangers staff an information desk, where tickets and maps are sold. A gift shop and bookstore also are on the premises.
