Fodor's Review

On the eastern fringe of Old Town, in a nascent arts district, this aromatic, down-home-style bakery is known for two things: the ability to custom-design and bake artful breads in the likeness of just about any person or place, and hearty green-chile bread (made with tomatoes, cilantro, Parmesan, green chile, and onions). You can order hot cocoa, cappuccino, bizcochito (the official state cookie, also known as New Mexican wedding cookies), pumpkin-filled empanadas,

plenty of other sweets and sandwiches (ask what bread is fresh and hot), and wonderfully spicy and aromatic pizzas made with green-chile crusts. There's seating on a small patio.
