El Patio
El Patio Review
A university-area hangout, this sentimental favorite has good—sometimes great—food served on the funky patio (the service itself could be described as a student-ghetto gamble). Go for the green-chile-chicken enchiladas or any of the heart-healthy and vegetarian selections. But watch out for the fiery green chiles served at harvesttime. Note that liquor isn't served, but beer and wine are—you can get decent-tasting "margaritas" made with wine.
