A two-story waterfall splashes down a marble backdrop in the sleek, contemporary lobby of this 15-story Downtown hotel, with attractive, pale-gold rooms that contain mid-20th-century-inspired furnishings and art—larger units have wet bars, sitting areas, and sofa beds. Popular with business travelers, the hotel offers some very attractive rates on weekends, when occupancy is often a bit higher. The restaurant at the foot of the waterfall is called, appropriately, La Cascada (The Cascade).
