A good bet for relatively straightforward sushi and sashimi, Crazy Fish is an attractive, upbeat storefront space with minimal fuss and gimmickry—just clean lines and a black-and-gray color scheme (and a subtle street-side sign one could easily miss). Friendly young servers whisk out plates of fresh food to a mix of students and yuppies. In addition to sushi, the kitchen prepares such favorites as crispy chicken, garlic-peppered beef, and seared-albacore salad with a
ginger-soy dressing. Tempura-fried bananas with chocolate ice cream make for a sweet ending.
