Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town

$-$$, Old Town

User Rating: **** 3.8

Fodor's Review:

This modern 11-story hotel rises distinctly above Old Town's ancient structures. The large rooms have desert-color appointments, hand-wrought furnishings, and tile bathrooms with Southwest accents but a slightly dated look; every room has a small balcony with no patio furniture but nice views. Cristobal's serves commendable Spanish-style steaks and seafood, and Cafe Plazuela offers more casual American and New Mexican food. A fine flamenco guitarist entertains in the lounge. Treatments and facials are available at Joseph's Salon & Day Spa.

Great Location

This is a nice hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. The pool is one of my favorites and the hotel is in a great location. This is not a resort hotel but is above the standard motels and has some pretty grounds and nice lobby area. I would recommend this hotel if you enjoy a charming atmosphere, pretty pools, and want to be in a good location for visiting Old Town.
