Sadie's is one of the city's longtime favorites for simple-but-spicy, no-nonsense, New Mexican fare. Remembered fondly by old-timers for the era when it made its home in the Lucky 66 bowling alley next door, it now occupies an fortress-like adobe building. It's a fun, lively scene and a general crowd-pleaser, but purists can detect changes due to the sheer volume of their output (and they now have additional locations elsewhere in town). Specialties include carne adovada,
cheese enchiladas, and spicy beef burritos, but skip the chiles rellenos. The service is always prompt, though sometimes there's a wait for a table. While you're waiting, try one of the excellent margaritas. Sadie's salsa is locally renowned and available by the jar for takeout.

Service is terrible, food is hit or miss. I live in Albuquerque, I love the food, I don't eat here.

Sadies is by far my favorite New Mexican Resturant in Albuquerque. Sadies has the best margarita's. I recomend the "Silver Coin". Salsa is made fresh daily. They are a VERY popular resturant.. they always have a wait for a table in the evenings after 5 pm. I would advise you to either sit in the bar/lounge area and eat quicky or outside on their patio in the summer. Also... The lunch time specials are to die for! Huge amounts of food, happy and friendly
servers and the best chips and salsa in Albuquerque. I love the veggie green chili (its hotter than the regular green and the regular green is made with beef). Try Brian's Spicy Ribs or The Roberto Special also a special taco is the blue corn guaco/chicken taco.... ok now i am just hungry! enjoy!
