Fodor's Review

Locals in the know favor this authentic New Mexican restaurant on the west side of Old Town over the more famous, though less reliable, standbys around Old Town Plaza. Monica's has a prosaic dining room plus a cute tiled patio, and the service is friendly and unhurried. If you've never had chicharrones (fried pork skins), try them here with beans stuffed inside a flaky sopaipilla. Or consider the traditional blue-corn chicken or beef enchiladas, and the savory green-chile stew. This is honest, home-style food, and lunch here may just fill you up for the rest of the day.

Perfect Breakfast

The food was excellent and the service was as well. The portions are enough for 2-3 people. YUMMO!!!!!!
