Locals do go on about who's got the best chile, red or green. What they don't dispute is that Mary & Tito's—an institution for decades, and run by the same family since it opened—is as tasty as it comes. It's casual, friendly, and the real deal. Grab a booth and try the rellenos or the enchiladas. A bonus: the chile is vegetarian, and the red is always sm-o-o-o-th. Although open for dinner nightly, the kitchen closes at 6 pm Monday through Thursday.
