New Jersey Shore Restaurants

Union Park

Updated 06/12/2012

Fodor's Review

An oil painting hangs over the fireplace mantle, wall sconces add soft light, and extravagant bouquets of flowers dress the room. You could be dining at your sophisticated auntie's house circa 1870, but would she have had a chef of the Union Park caliber preparing New American dishes like seared duck breast with duck confit hash or vanilla chai glazed short rib with smoked bacon marmalade? We think not. The restaurant is in the Hotel Macomber.

Our favorite restaurant in Cape May! We have eaten here six times over the last two years and each meal was better than the last. Wonderful service, charming decor, and a romantic ambience complete the experience. Perfect for your anniversary dinner.

We dined at Union Park Rest. Last night! Hands down the best menu, tastes and pricing in town. Partners Bob and Chef John has cleared the stage and set up new food standards. The Elk is a must as well as the muscles, and the deserts!! Oh the surf and turf too! Plus quantity- You won't leave hungry! You must get there soon. We are dining again tonight! There's so much to choose from!

Classy place

I personally think all of cape may is a ripoff, but this place is at least worth it. sits in a structure overlooking beach(across the street)with rocking chairs out is very good and service is good as well..not stuffy, but appropriately priced
