By Bus to Cape May in New Jersey Shore with Atlantic City

From late June to late August, a NJ Transit express bus from the Port Authority Terminal in Manhattan to Cape May departs almost hourly. It arrives at the Cape May Transportation Center bus depot. The round-trip fare is about $53; travel time is 3½ to 5 hours.

Within Cape May, the Cape Area Transit bus loops through the town's major attractions; it services downtown, Beach Drive, and the Coast Guard base and marina area, and runs daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day and on weekends in the fall. Day passes are $4, and a single ride is $1.
