Beachcomber Camping Resort
Beachcomber Camping Resort Review
Rent lakefront and wilderness cabins, some with loft spaces, as well as travel trailers sleeping up to six at this 100-acre wooded resort. Ultra-VIP sites (with cable hook-up) are big-rig friendly, and there are plenty of places for smaller RVs and tents. Two spring-fed lakes mean there's one for swimming and one for fishing. The latter is stocked with bass, sunnies, and catfish for catch-and-release fishing. Beachcomber is 4 mi from the Cape May historic district and from Wildwood. Reservations essential in summer.

This is not a campground catered to families. The employees are very rude. Check the other reviews online.
We stayed 8 nights. The rest of our family stayed 11 nights. This place has rude employees. They were not willing to keep our family together. So, if you are planning a "family" camping trip with several campsites, this is not the place to go. We booked 6 sites for our family and the Beachcomber put us on three different roads. Yes, 3 different roads! I mean, not even back to back, which would have been no problem for them to have done in order to keep us together. This certainly didn't make it very easy to have a camp fire at night with our other family members. When a campsite became available across from one of our family's campsite and we asked the campground if we could move, the employees were not willing to change our site. Also, the campground owners allow their "friends" with motorcycles into the campground and let's just say they are not quiet people.
We have been camping as a family for over 15 years and have never been treated like this.
It didn't make us feel welcome in New Jersey at all and I am not sure that we will be back to the Jersey shore.
