Boardwalk Hall

Fodor's Review:

The 456-foot-long, 310-foot-wide, and 137-foot-tall architectural wonder was once the largest open-air space in the world. Opened in 1929, the main hall has hosted the Miss American Pageant since 1940 and is now also home to the Boardwalk Bullies, the city's minor-league ice-hockey team. It's also the city's largest venue for concerts and other events and it houses the world's largest pipe organ.
