Fodor's Review:
Heritage New Hampshire uses theatrical sets, sound effects, and animation to render the state's history. A simulated voyage on the Reliance "sails" you from an English village of the mid-1600s to the New World, where you can then saunter along Portsmouth's streets in the late 1700s. Exhibits continue through to the present day.
