Fodor's Review:
The builders of this 1902 Victorian, which overlooks the village, followed a design by Stanford White. Although the foyer's staircase is grand, everything else -- from the braided rugs on the hardwood floors to the smattering of antiques -- is unpretentious and a great value. The airy guest rooms have oversize windows; eight have fireplaces. The exceptional full breakfast may include anything from egg soufflé casserole to blueberry pancakes.
