Fodor's Review:
Built in the early 1800s, this white clapboard house has later additions with lake views. Rooms have polished cherry and pine furnishings, armoires, stenciled borders, and country quilts but could stand a little updating, especially the bathrooms and toiletries. Pub fare and more than 70 brands of beer are available at Wolfe's Tavern ($-$$), where fireplaces take the chill off cool evenings. The 1812 Steakhouse ($-$$$) serves a popular slow-roasted prime rib.
