Fodor's Review:
Graceful, simple Victorian furnishings fill the eight stylish rooms and suites at this peaceful farmhouse inn just a short stroll from Squam Lake. In each you'll find Crabtree & Evelyn bath amenities, hair dryers, alarm clocks, and downy bathrobes. The inn is well away from the bustle of Winnipesaukee's amusements but within an easy drive of area eateries and shops. A full country breakfast and Saturday-afternoon hors d'oeuvres are served by candlelight.
