Part hip bistro, part jazzy wine bar (with live music many nights), Michael Timothy's is so popular that even foodies from Massachusetts drive here. The regularly changing menu might include stuffed pheasant with foie gras risotto and cranberry-clove jus, or wood-grilled venison loin with port reduction, herb spaetzle, creamed morel mushrooms, and stewed lentils. Wood-fired pizzas are also a specialty -- try the one topped with sirloin tips, caramelized onions, mushrooms, salami, sautéed spinach, and three cheeses. Sunday brunch is a big hit here.
