Fodor's Review:
This informal country home, built in 1879 and set on 50 wooded acres, is just up the road from Squam Lake. Rooms have hardwood floors, braided rugs, easy chairs, and calico-print bedspreads and curtains. The homemade jam at breakfast is made from rhubarbs grown on the property.
