Three of the nine fireplaces in this 1822 inn are in Colonial-style guest rooms. The property, with stunning views of the Monadnocks, was once a stop on the Underground Railroad. In the restaurant ($$), where Singapore native Rose Perry is at the helm, you can sample both American and Asian-inspired fare, such as cranberry-port pot roast and Indonesian charbroiled swordfish with a sauce of ginger, green pepper, onion, and lemon.
