This family-owned hotel was built across the street from Hampton Beach in 1912, though furnishings vary from period to contemporary. Most rooms have decks, but request a beachside room for an ocean view; otherwise you'll look out onto the pool or street. The Ashworth Dining Room ($$-$$$) serves steaks, poultry, and seafood. Of the seven lobster variations, the lobster meat wrapped in haddock with a crawfish-sherry sauce stands out.
