The White Mountains Sights

Flume Gorge Review

This 800-foot-long chasm has narrow walls that cause an eerie echo from the gorge's running water. A visit begins at the visitor's center, followed by a stroll along a wooden boardwalk and a series of stairways winding their way to the top of the falls that thunder down the gorge. The 2-mile loop takes a little over an hour. There are also a gift shop, cafeteria, and small museum.
