His full-time home from 1915 to 1920 and also his summer home for 19 years, this is where Robert Frost soaked up the spirit of New England, which was the essence of his poetry. This place is imbued with the spirit of that work, down to the rusted mailbox in front that's painted r. frost in simple lettering. Two rooms host occasional readings and contain memorabilia and signed editions of his books. Out back, you can follow short trails marked with lines from his poetry. A visit here will slow you down, and remind you of the intense beauty of the surrounding countryside.
