The heart of Main Street and Littleton is this hotel that functions as an informal museum, with old photos of town life in the lobby and halls. Reuqest a key to the cupola and climb up for the 360-degree views of town. Two rooms are open to the public: On the second floor is a room set up as it would have appeared in the 1840s. On the third floor is a diorama scene of a novel published by Eleanor Hodgman Porter, who was born in Littleton in 1868. She published her two Polyanna novels in 1913 and 1915.
