The heart of Main Street and Littleton is this hotel that functions as an informal museum, with old photos of town life in the lobby and halls. Request a key to the cupola and climb up for 360-degree views of town. Two rooms are open to the public: one set up as it would have appeared in the 1840s and one a diorama scene of a novel published by Eleanor Hodgman Porter, who was born in Littleton in 1868. She published her two Pollyanna novels in 1913 and 1915.
