The Buttonwood Inn Review
A tranquil 6-acre oasis in this busy resort area, the Buttonwood is on Mt. Surprise, 2 mi northeast of North Conway Village. It's a peaceful retreat that lets you avoid the noise of downtown but still have access to area restaurants and shopping. Rooms in the 1820s farmhouse are furnished in Shaker style. Wide pine floors, quilts, and period stenciling add folksiness. Downstairs is the Mt. Surprise room, where a self-serve bar, library, board games, and a DVD library await you.
