The Glen Review
Each of this resort's seven cabins sits alone in the forest with private views of the First Connecticut Lake and cedar siding with decks that have Adirondack chairs to enjoy the bucolic view. Each cabin has efficiency kitchens and mini-refrigerators—not that you'll need either. Rates include hearty meals, served family-style, in the lodge restaurant. The lodge has three bedrooms, a common area adorned with the mounted heads of deer and moose, and a fireplace in the living room made of native stone.
