Fodor's Review

The inexpensive and spacious rooms make this the place for families on a budget. There are lots of summer activities for children, including magic shows, ice-cream socials, fishing in a stocked trout pond, and climbing a lookout tower. For parents, a lounge features music and comedy on a nightly basis. In the winter, skiers can hitch a ride on a free shuttle to Cannon or Loon Mountain ski areas.

The Best

We have stayed at Indian Head every year for the past 4 years. We have never been disappointed, the rooms are so roomy and comfortable, huge bathroom and the maid service excellent. The Profile Dining Room offers so many choices and the food is excellent. The location can't be beat, so close to The Flume, Lost River, Cannon Mountain, The Basin, etc. Both the indoor pool and the outdoor pool are clean and there were always plenty of towels for

guests inside. The outside jacuzzi is wonderful for relaxing on cool summer evenings, the view of the mountains is spectacular. The pond is great for paddle boating and/or fishing.

Stayed here in August 2002. Our room was HUGE, two of the most comfortable double beds, nice big roomy bathroom and wonderful maid service. Restaurant is wonderful, food is terrific. Two pools, indoor and outdoor, well maintained and indoor pool has plenty of guest towels right there for you. Great location too, close to Lost River, Mt. Washington, The Flume, all the mountains, North Conway. Just a wonderful place to stay, staff very accomodating.
