Thompson House Eatery

Fodor's Review:

One of the most innovative restaurants in generally staid northern New Hampshire, this romantic eatery inside a rambling red farmhouse serves such world-beat fare as skewered applewood-smoked shrimp over baby greens with fresh melon and balsamic vinegar. The entrée of grilled lamb chops with cucumber-tomato relish over Israeli couscous, Greek olives, and pancetta wins raves all around.
