John Paul Jones House

John Paul Jones House Review

The yellow, hip-roof home was a boardinghouse when the Revolutionary War hero lived here while supervising shipbuilding for the Continental Navy. The 1758 structure, now the headquarters of the Portsmouth Historical Society, displays furniture, costumes, glass, guns, portraits, and documents from the late 18th century.
