The Exeter Inn Review
This elegant brick Georgian-style inn on the Phillips Exeter Academy campus has been the choice of visiting parents since it opened in the 1930s. After a complete overhaul, completed in the spring of 2008, the place looks better than ever. Rooms have a clubby Ralph Lauren design, with striped wallpaper, 10-inch pillow-top mattresses, and flat-screen TVs. A lounge and restaurant serves three meals a day.
