J.P. Stephens Restaurant and Tavern

J.P. Stephens Restaurant and Tavern Review

An appealing choice either for lunch or dinner, this rustic-timbered dining room overlooks a small mill pond in Rindge, about 8 mi south of Jaffrey Center. The 1790 building used to house a sawmill, a gristmill, a forge, and a blacksmith. The sole meunière is delicate and flavorful and the apple brandy and walnut chicken is sweet and brazen. There's live music and karaoke most nights in the tavern.
