The Centennial Review

This is the most modern hotel in New Hampshire, and it's home to Granite, the state's most contemporary restaurant and bar, making it a draw for the state's politicians and those doing business here. The imposing brick-and-stone building was constructed in 1892 for widows of Civil War veterans, but the interior was renovated head to toe. Boutique furnishings and contemporary art immediately set the tone in the lobby. Rooms have luxurious linens and down pillows on pillow-top beds. Bathrooms have stone floors, granite countertops, and stand-alone showers. It's the state's first foray into a hotel with high-end design, and it's a huge success.
