McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center
McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center Review
In a 40-foot dome theater, shows on the solar system, constellations, and space exploration abound. The planetarium was named for the Concord teacher who was killed in the Space Shuttle Challenger explosion in 1986. Children love seeing the tornado tubes, magnetic marbles, and other hands-on exhibits. Outside, explore the scale-model planet walk and the human sundial.
